Back in 2011/2012, I was interested to find out how to write Android apps for my phone, so set about doing it.

The main driver was I had just bought the Galaxy Note 2 that had an air pressure sensor in it. Since this was a new innovation in phones at that time, then there were very few apps about to utilize this sensor. So the Barometric Altimeter App was my first project. I only wrote 4 apps.

These Android Apps can be downloaded from the Google Play website, at the links given with each app. See the links on the side menu for more details.

The apps listed below are all compiled to work on Android version 5. Since I am not actively supporting them, and Android releases are known to not be 100% backward compatible, then there is a chance they may become broken at some point in the future.

Barometric Altimeter  Estimates the users current elevation based on the barometric pressure

LAS Viewer  A utility for viewing LAS format files. This type of file is commonly used in the oil & gas industry for data transfer.

AVO Utility  Computes the compressional and shear velocity response as a function on angle, in a transversly isotropic medium with a vertical axis of symmetry.

Acoustic Anisotropy  Computes the compressional and shear velocity response as a function on angle, in a transversly isotropic medium with a vertical axis of symmetry.
